I came to chiropractic as a second career after being an actor, writer and teacher. I switched careers after chiropractic treatment helped me recover from a running injury.

I enjoy  a varied practice and love  working with patients from all walks of life and all activity levels. In my spare time I am  a runner, with five full marathons under my belt. I regularly practice  yoga and, as a downtown resident, I enjoy  walking and biking through our beautiful river valley. I maintain  a strong connection with the local arts community and treat  performers from all disciplines as I have a personal understanding of the specific physical demands placed upon actors, dancers, singers and musicians.

As a mother I also know  first-hand the importance of chiropractic care throughout conception, pregnancy and the post-natal period for women  and babies. I especially love  working with moms-to-be, new parents and children of all ages. I am  an advocate of natural childbirth and see  chiropractic as having an important role in assisting the body to embrace this natural process.

As a former teacher, one of my passions is ensuring that every patient fully understands how and why chiropractic can help. I am very committed to the education of my patients with respect to all areas of their health and wellness. I look  forward to meeting you, getting to know you, answering your questions and helping you reach optimal health so that you can fully enjoy your life and family.

I am excited to begin working in the beautiful atmosphere and energy here at Alinio Chiropractic & Massage! I am a graduate of the 2200-hour program at MH Vicars and, as a Massage Therapist, I make every effort to have my clients leave with a feeling of relief - both physically and psychologically. The sense of healing that massage involves is as rewarding for me as it is for my clients - I love to see them leave with a better sense of well-being and an improved quality of life. My practice includes relaxation massage as well as therapeutic techniques and I shape my practice to fit the specific needs of each individual I am working with.

When I am out of the office you might see me out for a run or catch me in the spin studio. I have two grey cats, one that enjoys coming for walks with me around the city, adventuring in her bubble backpack. The other likes to stay home for snacks and snuggles. I also enjoy soaking up the mountain air while hiking or skiing.

I look forward to enhancing my practice in the years to come with additional modalities, including cupping and hot stone massage. I cannot wait to work with you and assist you on your wellness journey.

I graduated from the Massage Therapy program at MacEwan University in 2018. My treatments primarily lean towards pain reduction and relaxation. My greatest pride in my work comes from hearing how much relief my treatments bring to my patients and seeing their quality of life improve over time. I combine Swedish and deep tissue techniques with stretches and joint mobilizations to reduce muscle tension, work out knots and improve range of motion.

I am trained in Swedish Relaxation, Deep Tissue, Lymphatic Drainage, Joint Mobilizations, Myofascial Release, Pre and Post-Natal. Myofascial Cupping and Hot Stone are what I have planned for next in my continued education. While not at work I draw, read books, play volleyball, listen to music and spend time with my family.

Dale, a native Albertan, obtained his Acupuncture Diploma in 2016 from the Calgary College of Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture.  He selects treatments stylized for each individual recognizing that no two cases are the same.  Dale utilizes his knowledge & skills of multiple Acupuncture techniques for the treatment of a wide range maladies.  He takes no greater pleasure and reward than helping people improve from chronic and debilitating symptoms to a higher quality of living.  Dale has successful experience treating all types of pain as well as internal disorders and infertility.  His studies of Traditional Eastern Medicine and Acupuncture are on-going.

I have always had an interest in health and wellness. When I became pregnant with my first child a friend recommended I see Dr. Williams. The addition of Chiropractic treatment throughout my pregnancy helped me maintain my fitness and played a role in a complication-free delivery. Since then, Dr. Williams has supported me through a second pregnancy as well as treating both my girls!

Prior to becoming a mom, I was pursuing a career as an actor. I studied Musical Theatre at Grant MacEwan and went on to receive my Master's in Performance from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. I worked for various local theatre companies in Edmonton, Alberta for over 10 years.

Since having children my focus has shifted to health and fitness. I hold a certification in pre and post-natal fitness and am pursuing further education in this field.

When I'm not behind the Alinio desk, I teach various drama/improv and musical theatre classes at St. Albert Children's Theatre. I also love running with my husband, baking and having dance parties in the kitchen with my two young girls. I'm so happy to be part of The Alinio Team!

Originally from Ireland, I moved to Edmonton after meeting my husband and have called the city home ever since. For the past 20 years, I have been working in the administrative and customer service field. I am now very happy to be a part of the Alinio team and all that this wonderful practice offers its patients.

Outside of Alinio, I run a small baby equipment rental business and in my spare time, I love to get out with my kids and explore the city’s walking trails and parks.

A wily veteran of the service industry, I’ve spent over 30 years serving at a variety of restaurants from casual trendy to fine dining. I also ran the front door at an upscale establishment for three years.

Building upon this hospitality experience, I spent four years as Assistant Coordinator of the Banff Pork Seminar and one as the Assistant Coordinator of the Western Canadian Dairy Seminar.

A former instructor at MacEwan University and St. Albert Children’s Theatre, I’ve also spent many years training medical students, law students, and RCMP candidates in the art of interacting with the public.

Other positions in my checkered past include stints as the Treaty 8 Agricultural Benefits Claim Ratification Assistant, Front of House manager at the Walterdale Theatre, Assistant General Manager of the Freewill Shakespeare Festival, and Artistic Producer at Theatre North West.

I am thrilled to have joined the Alinio team! I am a multi-disciplinary artist who has called Alberta home my whole life. I am primarily an actor, but have also dabbled in producing theatre, arts administration and theatre education. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Alberta, and a Diploma in Theatre Arts from MacEwan University. I have an immense background of numerous customer service jobs throughout my life, and really love working with, and meeting new people on the job everyday.

In my spare time when I am not in the clinic, I love taking in the vibrant arts scene of Edmonton. I have a fur baby named Finn who was rescued from the SPCA, and is my whole life. Going to the dog park on a hot summer day, and watching him swim in the river is one of my all time favourite activities. Being in a profession that is taxing on your body, I have learned how important it is to take care of it with chiropractic and massage treatments, and am grateful to be a part of such a wonderful community here at Alinio!
