I came to chiropractic as a second career after being an actor, writer and teacher. I switched careers after chiropractic treatment helped me recover from a running injury.

I enjoy  a varied practice and love  working with patients from all walks of life and all activity levels. In my spare time I am  a runner, with five full marathons under my belt. I regularly practice  yoga and, as a downtown resident, I enjoy  walking and biking through our beautiful river valley. I maintain  a strong connection with the local arts community and treat  performers from all disciplines as I have a personal understanding of the specific physical demands placed upon actors, dancers, singers and musicians.

As a mother I also know  first-hand the importance of chiropractic care throughout conception, pregnancy and the post-natal period for women  and babies. I especially love  working with moms-to-be, new parents and children of all ages. I am  an advocate of natural childbirth and see  chiropractic as having an important role in assisting the body to embrace this natural process.

As a former teacher, one of my passions is ensuring that every patient fully understands how and why chiropractic can help. I am very committed to the education of my patients with respect to all areas of their health and wellness. I look  forward to meeting you, getting to know you, answering your questions and helping you reach optimal health so that you can fully enjoy your life and family.

I am a 2200-hour graduate of Alberta College of Massage Therapy. My passion to learn about Massage Therapy, and how it can benefit the body, is clear the moment you meet me. I'm eager to learn about YOU - what brings you in and how I can help you find relief from stress, pain or anything that keeps you from living to your full potential!

I am trained in a wide variety of massage techniques including Swedish Relaxation, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Cupping, Myofascial Release, Pre- Natal, Neurofascial and Hot Stone. I look forward to continuing my education to learn more techniques and modalities in the future. In my spare time I enjoy staying healthy going for a walk or run in the river valley, playing or listening to music & spending time with my family and my cat, Bailey.

I graduated from the Massage Therapy program at MacEwan University in 2018. My treatments primarily lean towards pain reduction and relaxation. My greatest pride in my work comes from hearing how much relief my treatments bring to my patients and seeing their quality of life improve over time. I combine Swedish and deep tissue techniques with stretches and joint mobilizations to reduce muscle tension, work out knots and improve range of motion.

I am trained in Swedish Relaxation, Deep Tissue, Lymphatic Drainage, Joint Mobilizations, Myofascial Release, Pre and Post-Natal. Myofascial Cupping and Hot Stone are what I have planned for next in my continued education. While not at work I draw, read books, play volleyball, listen to music and spend time with my family.

Born and raised in Toronto, I moved to Edmonton for school and decided to make it my home when I found work and my husband! I'm a graduate of the University of Alberta's BFA in Acting. So far, I've enjoyed twenty years of working primarily in theatre throughout Alberta and beyond. During this time, I've also worked for arts organizations in an administrative capacity and sharpened my programming, business communications, data management, and book-keeping skills.

I enjoy spending time with family, snuggling our two cats, gardening, crafting, yoga, walking in nature, reading, and writing, a discipline I am new to and deeply respect. I was first privileged to meet Dr. Williams when we were both in the theatre realm and I was at the beginning of my professional theatre practice. I am delighted that my path has brought me back to her through Alinio, a lovingly created and diligently maintained practice where the whole health of the individual is valued, respected, and nurtured.

I was raised in Alberta and I love the beauty of our province. I moved from Calgary to Edmonton to pursue my post secondary studies. I am a graduate of both Grant MacEwan University and hold a BFA in Acting (honours) from the University of Alberta.

I keep busy with a small window washing company I own and operate with my husband, as well as an independent theatre company. Edmonton feels like home, and is a wonderful place to raise our young daughter. Being a part of the Alinio team is a huge gift, and I love meeting all the kind patients who walk through the doors.

I have always had an interest in health and wellness. When I became pregnant with my first child a friend recommended I see Dr. Williams. The addition of Chiropractic treatment throughout my pregnancy helped me maintain my fitness and played a role in a complication-free delivery. Since then, Dr. Williams has supported me through a second pregnancy as well as treating both my girls!

Prior to becoming a mom, I was pursuing a career as an actor. I studied Musical Theatre at Grant MacEwan and went on to receive my Master's in Performance from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. I worked for various local theatre companies in Edmonton, Alberta for over 10 years.

Since having children my focus has shifted to health and fitness. I hold a certification in pre and post-natal fitness and am pursuing further education in this field.

When I'm not behind the Alinio desk, I teach various drama/improv and musical theatre classes at St. Albert Children's Theatre. I also love running with my husband, baking and having dance parties in the kitchen with my two young girls. I'm so happy to be part of The Alinio Team!
